 I'm Lizzy Rainey, a self-taught artist located in beautiful Lafayette, Indiana.
This past year, 2011, I illustrated one year of covers for "The ASRT" a medical magazine... so exciting!
Also in 2011, Lt. Governor Becky Skillman chose me as one of the Hoosier Women Artists. My painting of Lafayette, Indiana's Historical Ninth Street Mansion is featured and hanging in the Statehouse through February 2012. Stop by her office and see it!
September 17th through October 22nd of 2010, my Halloween exhibit ran at the Tippecanoe Art Federation in Lafayette, Indiana. This exhibit featured never before displayed paintings of my Trick or Treat Memories, full of old, charming houses, autumn colors, harvest moons, children walking the moonlit streets in their costumes... whimsical and enchanting.
In 2009, I served on the design team and created artwork for Lafayette, Indiana's new hospital, St. Elizabeth East.

Lizzy has also been chosen as one of the 2011 Hoosier Women Artists by the Lt. Governor Becky Skillman's office. Lizzy's art will hang in the Indiana Statehouse until February 2012. You may view it there during regular office hours.

HALLOWEEN PAINTING Trick or Treat |

The artwork archived on auntlizzy.com has already been sold but if you are interested in purchasing artwork from Lizzy there are two ways to go about it.
- You may view Lizzy's current auctions on eBay. To find a few of Lizzy's newest paintings for sale on eBay. Just click here.
- Lizzy also does commissioned work. You may want to ask for a portrait of your own home in an Autumn or Winter setting or even a Halloween scene complete with Trick or Treaters. A commissioned painting would be in a size canvas of your very own choosing. Feel free to email Lizzy and ask for more information.
